Senior Appointments Signal Expansion

Promotions an important step forward
20th January 2015

Award-winning architects Stephen George & Partners have appointed a further two Directors as part of expansion plans.

Nick Austin has become Practice Director and Justine Chamberlain has moved up to the role of Financial Director. The promotions, both based in the Practice’s Leicester office, follow the recent appointment of Richard Smyth as Director in Solihull.

Architects Helen Moore and Ming Cheung have both been made Associates at the Practice, which has been named one of the UK’s Top 100 architects and Top 100 places to work.

Managing Partner Michael Barker said: “These promotions are an important step in our plans to expand during 2015.”

Some of that expansion will happen in the Practice’s Solihull office where a growing team is working directly with client Prologis UK Ltd on some of the biggest logistics projects in the country, including the next phases of Prologis RFI DIRFT.

Stephen George & Partners specialises in commercial property, including logistics and warehouses, offices and industrial projects as well as all types of residential work, schools, and the retail and leisure sectors. The practice, which has won numerous awards for its work, boasts a diverse portfolio of clients and has particular expertise in masterplanning and workplace planning. As well as Leicester and Solihull, it has offices in Leeds and London and overseas in Sofia and Salalah.

Stephen George & Partners is listed as one of the ‘Top 100’ practices by the Architects’ Journal and has been rated one of the “Top 100 Companies to work for” in The Sunday Times.
